“Our GP Trainer’s conference gets better and better each year at Murramarang. Held over a weekend in February we involve nearly two hundred and fifty GP’s and their families. To organize a two day workshop and run activities concurrently for families to meet everyone’s requirements is a challenge that the team rise to professionally and cheerfully at Murramarang. From their wonderful Event and Conference Co-ordinator, to the hospitality, activities, housekeeping and reception staff every one wants to ensure a great event in a beautiful setting. It’s an inspiring team effort.
On a personal note, I was really inspired by the team effort, everyone including the GM was there…..hands on making it all happen for us … Thanks you all again.
A common theme among the supervisors was that the venue was a very pleasant and appropriate location. The conference facilities were of a high standard and the meals and snacks were generally fresh and appealing. There were suggestions made that morning and afternoon tea could offer a healthier alternative to compliment the cakes and biscuits.
This feedback will be passed on to the management at Murramarang. Those who stayed at Murramarang with their families commented that the accommodation was of a suitable standard, with compact, well-equipped facilities for self-catering if desired, and most mentioned that the central pool and extensive grounds were an attractive setting for delegates and their families. Supervisors also noted that the activities provided for families, such as the Kids Club, surfing lessons, kayaking and poolside activities were greatly appreciated. These activities were well patronized and could perhaps be extended for the next workshop.”
